The Village Medical Centre held a coffee morning to raise money for MacMillan on Friday 29th September 2017. The morning was a huge success as the medical centre raised £96 for the charity.
With a range of cakes on offer from lemon drizzle, low sugar fruit loaf, gluten free chocolate and coffee brownie, and banana bread, there were plenty of options to whet your appetite. Tea and coffee were flowing throughout the morning as they ran a tombola with some great prizes on offer.
Lauren Casey from Crossroads Together (formerly Carers Trust UK) accompanied the VMC team to help raise awareness for the carers drop-in sessions she will be running from the practice.
