Exciting news for The Willows Dementia Hub! We are proud to share that we have been shortlisted for the People’s Champion Award at the Greater Manchester Health and Care Champions Awards.
This respected awards program, run by NHS Greater Manchester, is the only Greater Manchester-wide recognition initiative celebrating the dedicated efforts of both paid and unpaid workers who go above and beyond to enhance the health and well-being of our community.
A Special Honour: The People’s Champion Award
The People’s Champion award highlights individuals and teams whose work has made a significant, positive impact on patients and service users. What makes this nomination even more special is that it is publicly nominated in partnership with Hits Radio. A panel of 50 health and care experts from across Greater Manchester carefully reviewed submissions before selecting the shortlist.
With nearly 700 nominations from over 140 organisations, across 14 different categories, the competition was incredible. The sheer variety of entries from all ten boroughs of Greater Manchester is truly inspiring!
What’s Next?
The winners will be revealed on 10 July 2025 in Manchester, and we couldn’t be more excited.
We’d like to wish the very best of luck to all nominees—but of course, we’re especially cheering on The Willows Dementia Hub in Rochdale!
Fingers crossed, and thank you to everyone who supports the life-changing work we do.
